Frenthway is a self-
professed
computer and motion graphics geek and IMA's fulltime video editor. Chris earned his bachelor's degree in film and video from the University of Michigan. Before joining IMA, Chris was a news editor, newscast director and post-production editor for WOTV-4 and WOOD-TV, ABC affiliates serving the Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids and Battle Creek markets. Chris and his wife, a news anchor and reporter for WISN-12, currently live in the Milwaukee area where they relocated from Kalamazoo. When he's away from the editing suite, Chris enjoys all types of movies, dabbling in computer programming, and reading crime nonfiction.
IMA recently upgraded its video editing suite where Chris spends his days. Watch for our new TV spots, web videos and produced TV programs, created with the latest techy toys and high definition equipment.
The new high-end, high definition equipment in a nutshell: Makes us a state-of-the-art, full-fledged HD video production department. We can shoot and edit video in ALL formats now, from standard to high definition. We added a Panasonic P2 HD Field Camera and an Avid Media Composer Nitris DX for easier, speedier on-line and off-line editing.

How does this benefit our clients? In other words, our clients get the absolute best look, sound and quality offered today. We offer master quality HD production and image quality, whether the client is getting a TV commercial or a corporate video from us. We're now completely high definition and tapeless from acquisition through distribution.
What's the benefit of being "tapeless"? Instead of recording to videotape, our new camera is recording to reusable memory cards. If a client is on a video shoot with us, we have instant access to everything. We can play back footage quickly and more reliably and clients can watch it on our new HD monitor. No tape rewinding or complicated numbering systems. This will speed up offline editing and shooting in the field. Plus we store the memory card for the client in our fireproof safe for future edits.
IMA now has an Internet based delivery system. Our new, increased bandwidth capability means we can handle distribution of our HD commercials to TV stations directly through our computer system. We can send anyone—including TV stations—the finished product online in whatever format required. Our TV reps don't have to pick up dubs at our front desk anymore, and we won't have to overnight ship air dubs to out-of-state TV stations.
What sorts of video come alive here? We can do any kind of audio and video creative and production at IMA. Commercials, corporate videos, TV programs, educational videos, multimedia production, Flash web video, 2D and 3D graphics and animation, audio recording and sweetening, DVD authoring and replication. The list goes on. |

 New client, Water Doctors of Waukesha, needed help getting its social media campaign off the ground. Image Makers stepped in and enhanced its Facebook account. In addition to promoting the business to potential and existing clents and friends, the site features pertinent facts and the latest information about drinking water. We also suggested a Twitter account as a way for Water Doctors to keep its brand top of mind, pass on interesting links, interact with followers, generate leads, and more. |
